A little more about me:

I was first introduced to the speech therapy world at age eight when my grandfather had a stroke. The speech pathologist that worked with him took the time to talk to me about how I could help.  As an eight year old, that made quite an impression! Through all my years as a speech pathologist, I have most valued time I spend with the child's family.  Listening and learning what a child's strengths are and how I can build on those is the foundation of how I partner with families to create our therapy sessions.

Therapy takes place in either my indoor therapy room or your home with hands on activities.  In nice weather months, we can spend time outdoors targeting speech and language goals through nature activities.  There is an abundance of research showing the benefits of children playing and learning outside.  Examples include planting seeds in little pots, exploring gardening books, scavenger hunts, and more!  One of my prime objectives is for children and families to learn strategies to make speech and language learning fun and engaging.

I am here to help you navigate your child's communication journey with confidence and compassion.  I am here to partner with you and your child wherever you are on your speech and language journey.
